Attorney Morgan Named President of Belli Society
Kirk Morgan of the South Carolina law firm of Walker and Morgan, LLC, was elected President of the Melvin M. Belli Society on July 9, 2010 at its annual meeting in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The Belli Society is an international group of trial lawyers dedicated to preserving and enhancing the Melvin Belli legal legacy. Belli was a founder and past president of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, now known as American Association for Justice. He was one of the truly great trial lawyers of the 20th century. LIFE magazine dubbed Belli “the king of torts”. His innovative use of demonstrative evidence and his willingness to teach and share were legendary. The Belli Society continues his tradition with practical seminars featuring courtroom skills involving live presentations by preeminent trial lawyers throughout the United States. The organization is comprised of approximately 300 attorneys.
Kirk Morgan is board certified with the National Board of Trial Advocacy, and currently is serving as president of the South Carolina Association for Justice.
