Office Recognized as Historic Building

"The Town of Lexington Historic Preservation Review Board held its first annual awards ceremony on October 29. The program was created to recognize citizens and business owners for their efforts in enhancement and economic growth in the town through preservation of historic buildings. Criteria for consideration: the building must be listed on the town's historic inventory; the building must be adaptively used if it is a former residence turned commercial; and if the building is commercial it must be restored to period and in keeping with its original integrity."

Present to receive the award were Mr. and Mrs. Kirk Morgan on behalf of Walker & Morgan, LLC. The building used to be home to the Harmon Drug Store.
